Stripes Presents Check In Support for
Palmer Drug Abuse Prevention

Stripes is proud to support positive children’s programs in South Texas such as the long-term partnership with the Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP).  Last November, PDAP and Stripes teamed up on a mobile campaign offered at all Stripes locations in the South Texas region including the Coastal Bend, the Rio Grande Valley, and surrounding areas.  The 2007 Stripes/Palmer Drug Abuse Program “Keep A Kid Off Drugs” campaign was a major success as Stripes employees raised $107,598 by asking patrons to donate one dollar to PDAP. The five-week campaign was held during the month of November and will benefit PDAP programs in Corpus Christi, Brownsville and McAllen regions.

PDAP offers children, teenagers, young adults and families living in South Texas an opportunity to live drug and alcohol-free.
