Stripes Opens New Store in Flour Bluff

December 21, 2006

Corpus Christi, Texas – After several months of anticipation, residents in the Flour Bluff area can now enjoy the convenience of shopping at Stripes. The newest addition to the Stripes chain of convenience stores opened today in Corpus Christi at 9602 South Padre Island Drive at Flour Bluff Drive.

The brand new store features a Laredo Taco Company restaurant and Valero gas. In addition to the homemade food offered by Laredo Taco Company, the full-service store features a wide range of brand-name products and food offerings, a large selection of fountain and bottled drinks, frozen beverages and an expanded self-serve coffee center featuring Stripes’ own Café de la Casa coffee. There is also seating for those who want to sit and enjoy their meal, rather than eat on the run.

“The new Stripes stores are built with the customer in mind,” says Sam L. Susser, CEO of Stripes. “And with the addition of the Laredo Taco Company restaurant in this store, we are able to not only give our customers the fast service and fresh quality products they expect, but hot and delicious homemade food as well.”

Stripes is dedicated to providing quality products and fast service to their customers and this store will provide the same convenience and friendly service customers have become accustomed to when visiting any Stripes location.
