Monkeying Around Bayfest!

Whew… What a weekend! The annual Bayfest celebration came into town the weekend of September 28th – 30th. It was a fantastic community event that brought great entertainment for the entire family. This unique Corpus Christi festival celebrated their 31st anniversary on our very own Shoreline Drive – Bayfront where many people enjoyed a colorful explosion of music, art, entertainment, fun, and education. Of course, Stripes as a corporate citizen took part of this community tradition and participated by selling All-You-Can-Ride Stripes Carnival tickets at our stores, as well as being the exclusive sponsor for the Stripes Carnival and the Nickelodeon activity with SpongeBob Square Pants Photo Splash. In addition, we also had the opportunity to promote our Slush Monkey brand at the event with the help of many volunteers from the Stripes family. They all wore their Slush Monkey T-Shirts and helped out to promote our image and new flavor of the month by providing many families with Slush Monkey samples, stickers, tattoos, coupons, and even silly Slush Monkey hats. Parents and kids of all ages enjoyed the nearly 5,000 refreshing samples our friendly staff offered, while smiling at all the funny monkey faces around.
